What you will need:
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup pure honey
1 splash liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 (3-4 pound) whole salmon fillet
Preheat grill for a high heat setting.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, liquid smoke, and vinegar.
Brush one side of the salmon with the basting sauce. Place the salmon on the grill, brushed side down. After about 6 minutes, generously brush the top with the sauce, and turn over. Cook for about 8 more minutes, then brush on more basting sauce, turn, and cook for 2 minutes. Be mindful not to overcook the salmon- it will loose its juices and flavor if cooked for too long.
