Marinated Grilled Shrimp


Nothing matches the taste of food on the grill, and this dish boasts all of those wonderful outdoor memories you know and love! See for yourself why grilling rules!


What you will need:

Grill

Large Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2 pounds deveined fresh shrimp

  • Skewers to cook

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, tomato sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Sprinkle on basil, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add the shrimp to the bowl, and stir until evenly coated. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 1 hour.

  2. Preheat grill. Put shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head.

  3. Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp on preheated grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side until shrimp takes on an orange color.
