Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
One of my Kids favorite lunches besides our Crack Bread, which I will post in a few days. It is really easy and quick to make and always a hit.
3 cups Small Button mushrooms,
1 cup Yellow onion, sliced
1 Green and 1 Orange Pepper, chopped
Salt and pepper
12 Slider rolls
1 1/2 tbsp Butter, salted
6 oz Cheese
1 pound Skirt steak, cut into bite size strips
Drizzle a skillet with EVOO and add in the peppers and Onions and cook until translucent. Add in the steak and cook until browned.
Cut slider rolls right down the middle and butter the 9x13 casserole dish then set the bottom half of the buns inside. Add the cheese, then the meat and pepper mixture. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Brush butter and top with either garlic salt or parsley flakes, then put in the oven on 375% for 10-15 minutes, until nice and golden brown.
Serve with Mayo and Home cooked fries.
