Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo
A lovely Italian dish, fettuccine and it's close friend alfredo join together to make an outstanding, rich and creamy pasta dish for your table. See the recipe for instructions on how to make it!
Cook Time - Preparation: 20 mins, Cook: 20 mins - Total time: 40 minutes
What you will need:
1 pound Fettuccini noodles
1 tbsp butter
1 pound cooked shrimp - deveined and peeled
4 cloves garlic, minced (fresh or jarred)
1 cup half-and-half (creamer)
6 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente, and then drain.
In a large skillet, cook shrimp and stir garlic in the butter for about one minute. Pour in half and half and stir. Sprinkle in parmesan cheese, stirring frequently. After all the parmesan is added, mix in the parsley and salt. Stir frequently making sure it does not boil. Sauce will take a bit to thicken.
When sauce has thickened, combine with cooked pasta noodles; serve immediately!
